Tune(s) of the Month
Since 2017, I’ve put out a Tune of the Month: I present melodies phrase by phrase to emphasize and supportt aural learning. To gear up for the 10th anniversary, guitarist Matt Heaton and I will launch a mini session series featuring past TOTM selections! We’ll premiere the videos with an open chat window, so we can all play together and connect through these rich little dance tunes.

Zoom TUNES will resume for THREE sessions in October 2026.

I love bringing folks together for these! We work on ONE GOOD TUNE over the hour. Everybody can work at whatever pace suits.
We do address a few elements of flute style; but all melody instruments welcome.

Backer MASTERCLASS
Matt Heaton will offer this one-off Zoom class on accompanying Irish tunes: an in-perrson follow-up to his wildly helpful April 26th “Backer Chat Livestream.”
