Mind the Door (AKA Mind the Wren)

When a wren built a nest in the hanging basket on my friend Lynn’s front porch, she did not consider moving the basket. Instead, she told me she needed to be more gentle entering and exiting her home. 

I thought a slip jig would be gentle enough for the wren. I also incorporated a few wood thrush notes, because Lynn said those guys had been really active in her ‘hood, too.
