The Bag of Rolls

January 2022 – After reopening things after Covid, Omicron roared in and canceled more plans (and made a lot of people sick). For a moment it felt like March 2020 all over again.

But the after-school art program our friend Sarada ran was still ON. She asked if we had any toilet paper rolls to contribute for one of the art projects. We had a couple, and I asked a few families on the block if they could save theirs for a few days. Together we filled a small bag of loo rolls for the kids in just one weekend! 

It’s amazing what we can do when we work together.
