Sharing Irish music... and the bigger stories behind it:

What a privilege it is to play and learn about Irish music… and to share it with other players and music lovers. Thanks to a generous Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship, back in 2017, the Irish Music Stories podcast launched. Now it’s close to 100 episodes!



These days the podcast is self-funded. So are all the many YouTube tutorials and guided sessions that we Heatons have created to help folks navigate the vast tune repertoire.

Donations help defray expenses (web-hosting fees, podcast hosting, software and hardware upgrades, IMS-related travel). And above all when folks kick in, it’s a powerful show of support. It’s encouragement that this content is meaningful for folks.
