Shannon’s three-movement Flute Duel is scored for two flutes and piano and ‘pits’ a Classical vs Irish flute style.
The ‘Irish’ part can be performed on either simple system wood flute or modern keyed (silver) flute. All music is notated/scored, and suitable for performers who are not already familiar with traditional music:
